Pranks and Stoopid Things I've said
(a cross-over post(!))

Pick yer pizzen: Is it a prank? Is it stoopid? Is it a stoopid prank?
Ida know.....

More than a few years ago, when I was still employed by the afore-mentioned architecture and engineering firm (see: Digging for Lint), it became something of a tradition that three of us there (Jeff, David and myself) would have a small birthday celebration, going out to dinner and some other activity. It was sadly short-lived and only lasted a couple years before the group disintigrated.... I really don't know why.

However, on the evening in question, we chose to see Prophecy. Honestly, the only thing going for it is Christopher Walken playing an angel gone bad..... Anyway, this didn't involve the movie, but rather a trailer before the film: some Mel Gibson retro flick., I believe... maybe the one where he was frozen and woke up in current times.... maybe not.

An old wood-paneled car drove across the screen and in the dark I noted: "My dad had a woodie once".
Jeff started laughing. David nearly choked on his popcorn and spat it out.
I decided to be indignant at their response and built upon the joke: "He did, too! He showed me pictures of it". And then they really lost it.
As did the fellow in front of us, who happened to hear me. I only hope he told someone else about it later...

When I later told Mrs Sivana (then my intended), she responded "He had to have one at least twice!!"

Did I happen to mention I have a younger brother, known to various and sundry as Evil?
Yes, I am Evil's elder brother....
